Fincher Ends Strip
Charles Pugsley Fincher discontinued his long-running "Thadeus and Weez" comic strip at the end of August. The cartoon ran on the editorial pages of about a dozen Texas newspapers and online.
Fincher announced he is ending the strip to devote more time to other projects and to his law practice.
"Thadeus and Weez" began in 1985 as a law-themed comic in the Texas Lawyer, and later began addressing Texas and national politics.
Fincher will continue posting political and editorial cartoons on his site The Illustrated Daily Scribble.
