Joe Liccar
Joe Liccar, An Editorial Cartoonist for Gatehouse Media provides editorial Cartoons for the Gatehouse Chain of Newspapers as well as susbcribers to the news service. Joe offices out of The Examiner daily newspaper, Independence,Missouri (Kansas City Metro area).
Joe Liccar has been a professional Editorial cartoonist since 1993 contributing to the editorial page content as well as specialty publications and advertising.
A Chicago native and die hard Cubs Fan, Joe's first words as a baby were "Ma-Ma", "Da-Da', and "Wait' ll next year". Liccar lives in Lee's Summit, Missouri with his wife Cathie, and two sons Joey, Jr. and Vince.
Joe is immersed in the community promoting the art of editorial cartooning at various appearances functions, schools and events.
Books published of his cartoons are available with the newest volume due out December 2008.
A limited number of signed prints of Joe Liccar cartoons are available for a donation to Hope House ( A temporary home for abused families).
